I seem to be having a problem with the brightness in the game. Everything is to bright (washed out and gray), even on the lowest brightness setting, and the contrast is way of. I believe my screen is calibrated well enough, I really don't have this problem with other games. Looks like others are also having this issue as well

****THIS ONLY HAPPENED ONCE THOUGH*****

does it mean my gpu is faulty( played several games after that including tomb raider and that issue did not appear). Many people having the same problem, though its way back in march. I was using the 1.01.748.0(guess the latest one). Help me because looks like this site is failing to reply many of my cases

I would say all of your hardware is working, but the rest of your post is too confusing to understand what is causing it. It sounds like it happened only in Tomb Raider, but also happened in other games, but also happens in other games? But it doesn't happen anymore, but it also keeps happening? Sorry I cannot understand you to know.

Oh okay sorry. That clears things up quite a bit. Well by the sounds of it then, the problem isn't with your system or anything, but its with the game itself. Other people are having the issue so its related to a bug. Unfortunately I cannot think of any better way around it than to make sure you have the most up to date patch or do like the people said in your link, keep reloading checkpoints to remove it or don't use that perk.

A possible work around may be to re-adjust all the settings for your monitor and such just for that game and change them back after. Not a great solution, but only other idea I can think of. Sorry can't be more help.
