Wasn't really sure how to word the title...anyway, I want to format my TB HDD now that my SSD has been going steady for a few months and I have confidence in it. I'm not sure how to go about formatting the drive and making sure my games will save on there (instead of my SSD) like they do now...any advice, help, pointers, how-tos, etc. are greatly appreciated!

Edit: Or could I just delete everything except my Program Files and Program Files (x86) folder and call it a day?

To install things on the other drive, you have to change destination during install, sometimes times that will require you to pick custom installation option during the installation. Sometimes the option will be during the regular installer prompts and will have a field where you can click and type in or a button to browse. You will want to pick the location on the other drive.

Windows Explorer
Rightclick on the drive
Format

Or, in Disk Management - delete all partitions, create new partition with ALL the space, Format

For installing games to the HDD
With Steam, you can change the default location in Settings. Somewhere on the HDD.

Screw it, I had to go to the bank and Fry's is right there so I just picked up another TB hard drive for cheap. Now I have other problems (lack of proper cables, so I get to go make another trip to Fry's) sigh. Thanks anyway!
