It won't send the monitor any signal. I have been able to get it to work for short times, but it usually ends in either windows crashing or the card just stops making a display. I am not sure what is wrong because I just recently received this card from an RMA.

The native resolution settings are incorrect. Just make sure you choose the native resolution of your monitor as the default output resolution of your graphics card.

Go to your monitor manufacturer website, select your monitor model, go to specifications, now read the resolution and refresh rates supported by your monitor. In your graphics card control panel, go to change resolution and choose create custom resolution and enter the values of refresh rate and resolution that you saw on the website. Also , if the signal goes blank in between, check to see if bending the dvi/vga wire resolves the issue. If still not fixed, go to your bios settings, understand each and every feature and experiment with all the features. Yes all the features and not just graphics card features. This is extremely dangerous and extremely necessary once in a while.
