Is this a good tv to use as a monitor

Solution
Computer monitors are always superiors IMHO. One of the reason is that the LCD panel on a TV isn't optimized to read characters like you do on a computer monitor. Everytime I saw a HDTV connected to a PC, I never felt it was the same as a real monitor.

For instance, I have a 24" IPS monitor in my home office, and a 55" HDTV in my living room with a laptop connected to it and even though the TV is really big I always find the characters harder to read.
