From my experience, I will not get another dual card setup from AMD. I started with two 5770's and had trouble, then I upgraded to two 6870s and I am stuck with them now. I had to disable a card in most games otherwise microstutter is horrible. There really is no micro to it. Always get the single best card you can get.

I know about the waiting game, but my 7870 is still pretty good. Even If the new cards don't get release, by then I still saved up enough money to pick up a 7979/770.
My budget will be what am selling the card for $200-220.
I got my eye on this one $179

Or pick this one up for $150 so I could get something else

Also my current monitor is a dell OEM 20 inch 1440x900p

The 3570K http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007SZ0E1K/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B007SZ0E1K&linkCode=as2&tag=b0b929-20 overclocks really well and will probably last you longer than the 6300 ever will. I'd check your budget and if you have to sacrifice your GPU to get the 3570K then just get the 6300.[/quotemsg]

I could use the money from selling my second 7870 to get the i5 3570K. then save up and buy a Mobo and i would still have my AM3+ Mobo and FX 6300 which i could also sell as a combo and use that money for the monitor

Update;
As a matter of fact i don't think its really worth all the hassle right now. I mean, i also want a new case and a new GPU.

Honestly bud.... If I were you I would play with this setup until you can't anymore, I'm pretty sure the performance isn't exactly sub par. That is a nice setup I like it.

With a better cooler could you OC some more?

Cooler master elite 430 (in my signature).If your talking about h100 then I don't think my case can hold it. I have a hard time just putting an fan at the top of the case because of my rams. By the end of this month I should already have the corsair 300r/400r/500r. What am looking at is the 500r but am waiting for the price to go back in the 90's if not then am getting 300r/400r
