Greetings,

I had a GeForce GTX 460 with 320.49 Driver and all was fine.
Windows score was 7.5 for graphics and I was running the benchmark for the new game FFXIV with good FPS and a final score of 4500

Then I tried to install the new 326.41 Beta driver and all went to hell.

Windows score dropped to 6.1 and benchmark gaved me only 2200 score with horrible FPS

I tried to rollback but nothing changed, then I tried to do a clean install of the 320 driver and still nothing then I tried install the 314.22 driver but still nothing, I can't get back the performance I used to have.

This is gettin really frustarting and I don't know what to do anymore, please help!

Get rid of the 320.xx drivers (all of them) and re install the 314.22 drivers. The 320.xx drivers are all screwy. Just go to www.Geforce.com and read the forums on the drivers. I even modified 314.22 drivers to work with my GTX 780 and they are flawless.

EDIT: KEEP the 314.22 drivers and never, ever upgrade from them unless you read through the Geforce forums on those drivers for problems. Plus, since your card is kind of old....the new drivers (even if they did work good) prob wouldn't benefit you (if any) because the old tech is as tweaked as they are going to get. Yes, bad drivers really can wreck hardware

Double Edit: I see you said you already went back to the 314.22 drivers and did a clean install. I assume your 460 met the fate of my SLI 560's with trying out the 320.xx drivers...they got damaged. On the bright side, the GTX 760's are only 250 bucks!

. So never ever update drivers for a few weeks after release to find out if they contain bugs. It won't hurt and I learned that lesson harshly.
