Getting blue screen when starting up new computer build

Hello everyone I just finished my computer build and everything seems to be running fine but whenever I turn on my computer and insert my windows disk I get a blue screen message saying windows has encountered an error and ect ect can anyone help please?

    Get into the bios and reset the bios to default settings
  2. Sorry I don't really know that much about computers how do I get there? And I think the problem might be that I am trying to install windows xp on a SATA hard drive could that be the issue? Will getting windows 7 fix it?

  6. ur memory 1.65v but the haswell only supports upto 1.5v
    this is why u r getting this blue screen

  12. the one thing that u can do is to enter bios and reduce memory speed to 1333mhz
    the voltage will also come dwn to 1.5v

    Will that affect my system at all?

    better get refund
    and a compatible memory
