Getting blue screen when starting up new computer build

Hello everyone I just finished my computer build and everything seems to be running fine but whenever I turn on my computer and insert my windows disk I get a blue screen message saying windows has encountered an error and ect ect can anyone help please?

Get into the bios and reset the bios to default settings

Sorry I don't really know that much about computers how do I get there? And I think the problem might be that I am trying to install windows xp on a SATA hard drive could that be the issue? Will getting windows 7 fix it?

ur memory 1.65v but the haswell only supports upto 1.5v
this is why u r getting this blue screen

u need to get acompatible 1.5 memory

the one thing that u can do is to enter bios and reduce memory speed to 1333mhz
the voltage will also come dwn to 1.5v

yes thats the best u can do and get patriot intel edition ram or corsair vengeance pro

no until its running at 1.5


but i would suggest
better get refund
and a compatible memory
