hi guys!
i'm looking for a good gaming laptop. theses are the things i'm looking for:
-15" & lower
-good GPU (the kind that will be better than a desktop 6850)
- around 1000$
- as long as it works, i don't care about the condition (from refurbished to new) :p
anyone got any suggestions? i'll be happy to hear :)
thanks!

* i don't mind it not being "gaming", as long as it stand in all the criteria :)

i want to play BF4 on high+, i don't care for resolution as long as it fits the screen, and i would like a good battery that is around 4+ hours on normal usage.
thanks!

definitely the Lenovo Y510p - the most cost effective up to $1000:
- GT 750M SLI
- I7
- 8GB DDR3
- matte 1080p screen with good viewing angles

i checked lenovo's site and it's 1,199 and that's already on sale :p . although, if there's a place where i could buy the 750 as ultrabay or a model with the same specs only cheaper i would defiantly buy it. what about the 6990M? do you think it'll play bf4 on high? is it better than the 765m? thhanks! :p

no no no! not through lenovo
Did you check the link I posted?

why 6990M? it's old and consumes a hell of a power more than the 765m!
+ you'll probably get a lower quality screen with it

hey thanks man! i checked the link you sent now (didn't see it earlier lol) i see micro center are the only ones selling for 1K with SLI. are they legit? also, the battery seems really crappy... is there anyway i could buy a 8-cell battery (like from a private seller) or does it not work that way? thanks! a LOT! :)

and Amazon!
MicroCenter - yes, but again, you can get it from Amazon

The battery is good, but the Y510p with two GT 750M has some imperfect implementation. You can read in the link - there is some redditor that found a way to make the battery performance good (5-6 hours for common light use) with some tweaking.

thanks! but amazon sells the SLI versions for more than 1,100$ so i'll buy from micro-center. hey thanks! you're the best answer! also, is there a Y410p sli version? 14" would be a great size for me.

EDIT: i see now that the model on amazon means that this is the SLI model although they don't seem to mention that anywhere else. as for the reddit guy who tweak'd the battery, can you send me a link or something? i can't find it! thanks!

the amazon one isn't in SLI formation. in the item description it says under optical drive: none. so i think i'll just order from micro center. they sell it for 1K and they say it has SLI. thanks man, you've been really helpful. :)
