I want to build a pc in few weeks and I'd like to know if I will be able to get 45 average fps on medium/high at 1600x900p resolution.
I can play on low too if I have to . Most important thing is resolution.

Thanks in advance

My system specs :
CPU : Core i5 3470 3.2GHz
Memory : Kingston 8Gb (2x4) 1600MHz
Motherboard : MSI H77MA G43
PSU : Thermaltake Litepower 500W
Graphics Card : Asus GTX 650 DCT 1GD5

It's hard to say since the only benchmarks out there are the alphas which don't portend performance once it reaches the market. http://www.techspot.com/community/topics/battlefield-4-benchmarks-alpha.193921/

It's particularly challenging because the game engine (Frost Bite) is updated with improved Tessellation and the like, so we can't just apply bf3 benchmarks to bf4.

If you can stretch your dollar a bit more I would buy the GTX660 to buy extra performance head room, but you are on the right track with NVIDIA since GeForce performs better on the battlefield franchise on average than Radeon. Take a look at the benchmarks history for yourself, so if you need to stick with the gtx650 then do so.

I've put together a site to track...

A 650 will probably get that FPS on medium-high running BF3, so I think it would be fair to say (looking at the changes) that in BF4 you can expect similar FPS at medium settings.

Anti-aliasing and Ambient occlusion maybe a little out of reach.

I've put together a site to track benchmarks and price to the games and resolutions that they are to be played on (for questions like these) . Don't feel obliged but drop me a line with your thoughts - its on my signature. Letting me know that it sucks is OK too :)
