So I've been thinking of upgrading my old Packard Bell computer to an up to date gaming computer but I need some help and opinions because it will be my first time :??:

My budget would be around 900-1100 euros // 1200-1450 USdollars
I would like to play League of Legends, Battlefield 4, Arma III, DayZ Standalone, Crysis 3, and some other games coming out in the future on high-max settings and good fps while streaming

My current computer:
Packard bell CPU IMAX X6750

»(CPU) Core2Quad Q8300 2.5Hz
»4.00Gb Ram
»(HD) WD 1 Tb
»(MB) Packard Bell APL00
»(GPU) Nvidia GeForce G100 512 Mb DDr2 PCI Express
»(PSU) Jet 300W
»Socket LGA775
»(Case) Micro ATX

After some search this is what I've got:

»(CPU) i5-3570k = 210 euros
» 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz = 70 euros
»(HD) WD 1 Tb - Keeping same HD
»(MB) Asrock Z77 Extreme 6 = 150 euros
»(GPU) MSI N760 TF 2GD5/OC > SLI = 260 euros x 2
»(PSU) no idea , need help
»(Cooler) no idea , need help
»(Case) no idea , need help

Total so far: 950 euros // 1260 USdollars

Everything I got so far is susceptive to change because as I said I'm quite inexperienced in this area.
Every help is appreciated
Thanks in advance.
:)

For the Same price you can get the same GPU with ACX cooling and its Superclocked
For the CPU, spend 20 dollars more for the next generation Intel ( Haswell ), BUT that would mean you would have to change your mobo too
For the Mobo, can't go wrong with a gigabyte mobo
For CPU Cooler, get CPU Cooler1. CPU Cooler1 is better suited for overclocking if thats your thing. If you don't plan to. Get CpuCooler 2
For the Case, The NZXT Phantom 410 is a great case with fan controllers and 8 places you can put fans( Not including CPU Cooler and PSU Fan)
Your Ram should fit fine.

Thank you all for your recommendations guys, I still have some questions tho:

i5-3570k vs i5-4670 = I can get them both for around the same price
Asrock Z77 Extreme 6 vs GigaByte GA-Z87X-D3H = Both around same price also

I don't know which is the best combo and also not sure if they're compatible with the rest of my computer so I would appreciate some more help.

I'm really impressed by the SLI 760's so I'm probably gonna stick with them, they seem really cost/efficient.

About the psu, cooler and case I could use some help figuring out:
how many watts the psu needs?
how "strong ?" the cooler needs to be?
how big the case needs to be? I don't think I could fit all this in my microATX otherwise I would keep it.

Also I have 2 monitors, (only plan to play games on 1 ) does it make any difference or complications?
Thanks again everyone

Id go with the Gigabyte Mobo and the Intel i5 4670.

BTW theres a combo on a gigabyte mobo and a intel i5 4670K
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1394990

ALSO, with the parts i gave you, they are compatible with this combo

I've never been that impressed with SLI when I could just get a single card for the same performance and less problems and compatibility issues. Sli to extend an aging system, but if I'm building a brand new machine, get the best single card solution I could afford.

I personally hate SLI myself because of compatibility issues like you said and that it doesn't work with all games.

Thanks! That combo price would be pretty awesome (100 dollars cheaper) but I don't think NewEgg ships to Portugal =(

Searched for a bit and found this: http://www.shipito.com/ but I don't know how reliable it is =(

Could you please back up your hate against SLI ? I would like to know if you've had any problems with it in the past

And my opinion on SLI 760 was based on these reviews:
http://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonevangelho/2013/07/07/crunching-the-numbers-can-dual-269-nvidia-gtx-760s-outperform-a-999-titan/
http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_760_sli_review,1.html

SLI 760's outperform a single 1000 dollars TITAN in every aspect within my screen resolution (1080p) for half the price

I just don't think its really its needed to play those high end games like black ops and crysis. Plus, like i said earlier, it isn't compatible with all games and may cause incompatibility. All you need is lets see.... something like a EVGA Geforce 760 SC w/ ACX cooling to play Crysis at ultra

SLI draws more power, adds more fan noise and more complexity when trying to troubleshoot issues you may have with your build. The amount of VRAM on each card doesn't stack with each other. Its always better getting a single card solution that works at max settings now, then buying two cheaper cards and hoping SLI will work with all games a year from now. SLI is a marketing ploy by the GPU manufacturers to get people to buy more units. It only shows any benefit if you are running ultra high resolutions.

Thanks! That's helpful, I think I might order a single 760, test it around and see if it's enough, and keep the option to buy a second one in the future open =)
I understand that SLI cuts me off future upgrades but the price difference between 760, 770 and 780's is really huge and makes it hard to choose
