Is this PSU Good enough for 770' sli ?

Solution

^ Not powerful enough. Lacking 12v amps.

You will need a high end 750w unit to have 62 amps. 62 amps is 744 watts and generally only really good units have all their power supplied on the 12v rail. The OCZ unit is fine on quality but you would need the 850w model.

850 watts is recommended for GTX 770 Sli.

You might need 850W. I haven't ever done SLI myself just cuz not all games support it

Incorrect. A system with a GTX 770 needs 42 amps. When factoring in a second card you do not have to add a second of everything else.

No it's not good enough or powerful eough. Stick with Corsair, Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling, XFX, Silverstone, Enermax, OCZ, Antec or the high efficiency Rosewill units for quality. 750 watts/62 amps on the 12v rail minimum.

I wish someone would keep that list updated. I use it as well but there are some bad errors. The Seasonic G series needs to be tier 1. The last model got a 9.7 from jonnyguru. Voltage regulation, ripple and noise are all excellent.

Yeah but there are some things like the PC Power and Cooling Silencer MK III that have never been added and it's several years old. It should be Tier 2.

You are going to hate me for this but if you can find another model do so. The Corsair CX series is a budget line and I do not recommended them for high power systems. They use cheap Chinese made capacitors where as better units use all solid Japanese caps. The CX series falls in tier 3 on that list.

Yep, great quality and they look cool as well. Very few white units out there.

In a lower power system the CX series is fine. It is what it is, a good budget power supply. Up to an HD 7850/7870 or GTX 660/660 Ti they are fine. But when you stress them they die early. There are threads on the badcaps forums devoted to how bad they are.

I sure would not use it in this case where it's just meeting the minimum amp requirements.
