Hey Folks,

I am having some difficulties at keeping my overclocked system stable at 4.8Ghz and I really hope someone can help me out:

System Specs:

Processor: ASUS P9X79 PRO LGA 2011
Power: Rosewill Xtreme Series RX750-S-B 750W Continuous @40°C ,80 PLUS Bronze Certified, ATX12V v2.2 & EPS12V v2.91
Memorry: G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-1866C9Q-
Cooling: CORSAIR Hydro Series H110 Water Cooler
HDD: Corsair Neutron 256GB SATA III

I followed a little video tutorial from this guy "JJ" Youtube on how to overclock X79 Sandy Bridge, and to be honest, I am quiet happy with the results at 4.8Ghs, but the system is not fully stable.

The purpose for my overclock is 3D Renderings. I am able to keep my machine running at 100% load for almost an hour (about two 28 minute renderings) and then it either shuts off or I get a blue screen. If I run Prime95 torture settings, I can get 10-15 minutes and then blue scren. If I run AIDA64, I can get almost an hour and then the system shuts off... The system never get hotter then 79C.

Attached are the screen shots of BIOS and some test programms:

Thanks guys!

Solution
It's possible your MC (memory controller) is a little stressed w/ the OC, might try dropping the sticks to 1600 and tighten timings to 9-8-8-24 initially and see if that helps - if stable can then try 8-8-8-24 at 1600

I tried those settings and seems like the system becomes less stable. I tried VTT 1.2 and DRAM's at 1.56 with the different variations of CPU VCCSA of 1.1 and 1.24 and no luck so far. Thanks
