What price do i expect to pay for this

Someone i know is selling this machine it would be for my son to play some games on it like Mine craft / Saints row / GTA IV etc.

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00GHz Processor
4GB RAM
500GB 7200RPM 16Mb
Geforce 9800GT

Would this be up for the job and if so what do i pay approx was looking at around the £140 mark this fair?

Minecraft, yes. It's not very demanding. GTA IV needs a good quad core CPU to run well and Saints Row is fairly demanding as well. That is a decent computer for the money but do not expect it to be a great gamer. The E8400 can easily be overclocked to 4Ghz assuming it's not an OEM computer like Dell or a HP etc. At 4Ghz you could go up to a better graphics card like a GTX 650 Ti or similar and then it would be a decent gamer. The dual core CPU will hold it back though no matter how high it's overclocked.

140 pounds is $215 US and that is a good price. Maybe even better than good with the VAT you guys pay.
