Hello, a few months ago I came strolling around Toms Hardware looking for help building my very first gaming PC with a budget of 700 dollars.

ASUS M5A78L-M LX3 - AM3+ Micro motherboard ($63.43)
AMD Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition CPU ($94.97)
(X2-4GB) Memory Corsair XMS 1333MHz Kit ($44.97)

I was hoping you could help me look for some new parts either from Tiger Direct or Newegg for a decent price to replace my low budget parts. Though there is no Low Budget there is no need to purchase something worth 300+ dollars I am not that crazy into my computer specs but I do what to max my performance (16-24GB Ram and 7.1 Surround Sound Audio Support, HDMI Support etc.)
Currently I have debated on if I should keep my current CPU (AMD Phemon II) and go for a bigger more supported Motherboard, and if I can just get a non-stock fan to replace my stock fan to have better cooling while gaming to keep my current CPU as it has only been about 6 months. (not necessary but would be nice to treat the CPU with some respect)

as for the memory, am I better off just getting 4x8GB memory to replace my 2 4gb cards I don't really need 24GB RAM as I know that is a lot an just extra money as 16GB ram is good enough an just save myself some cash for my gaming equipment (Oculus Rift & Razer) also needing at least 1. 2 TB HDD
Anything is appreciated (New Tower with better air circulation perhaps?) I do like the current Motherboard I have picked out so why not throw some parts my way to help me out.
