3dmark11 seems to suggest here that the i7-3280 is the best card to use for my gaming rig.

However, http://www.cpubenchmark.net/ suggests this is not true. Am I correct in assuming that http://www.cpubenchmark.net/ gives scores that would be more accurate for activities other than gaming?
I want to get a CPU that will match my 2x 760s as mentioned in the title, but I'm a little lost when it comes to deciding which set of information is more accurate for gaming.
I don't need anything overkill, since I just have 2x 760's. I do, however, want to be able to play on ultra on most games, and I don't want to be held back by my cpu.
