Motherboard- MSI Computer Corp. Socket AM3+ AMD 970 DDR3 SATA3 and USB 3.0 A&GbE ATX Motherboard 970A-G43

RAM- Corsair Vengeance 8 GB ( 2 x 4 GB ) DDR3 1600 MHz

PSU- Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS (or the 500 watt version, i'm still undecided)

Case- ZALMAN Z9 Plus Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

After Market Cooler- Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Storage- Seagate Barracuda 500 GB HDD SATA 6 Gb/s NCQ 16MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive ST500DM002

I'm not sure if these are excellent parts for a good gaming computer, I wish to play Battlefield 3, Skyrim, GTA4, ect. If you guys could also recommend me a great monitor that would be great too, Thanks!

For starters I'd probably recommend an i3, and a 7850 they run for around 170. A 7850 will be faster than a 650ti and 7850's overclock well.

And an i3 has around the same performance as a 6100. But the advantages of it would be that you'd have a motherboard that would allow you to upgrade to an i5 if you ever felt like it.
