Hi, so ever since I bought my GTX 770, and FX-8350 2 days ago, I've been experiencing shadow problems in Source games. Particularly Garrys mod, and CSS. I honestly don't know what to say.... but It started when I got my new card. All other games seem to work fine.

All screenshots are from Garrys mod, but on CSS, its more or less the same.

The shadows/outlines you see are supposed to be the corners of the map. I just.... I don't know.

Also, If you remember my other thread about my CPU sounding like a Jet, I fixed it. Got myself a CoolerMaster T4 :) (They didn't have the 212's in stock where I went)

Solution
Try running all settings at low. If this doesn't work go into Nvidia Control Panel and select
or8YS7Q.png

then navigate to
GgcGYhN.png

Once there, set all of these settings.
Ambient Occlusion - Off
Anisotropic Filtering - Off
Antialiasing - FXAA - Off
Gamma Correction - Off
Mode - Off
Transparency - Off
Do not touch any other setting and click Apply.
Setting Transparency off alone should be able to fix this, I haven't tested but I know this is the solution.
