Hi. I have a problem with my external hard disc drive (toshiba 1TB).
I was moving files from the hard disc into my laptop when my laptop lost its power. When I try to connect the hard disc into another computer, it said cannot connect due to 'cyclic redundancy error'.
I have tried the solutions at the previous post here, but I think its fot windows 7. it didn't work for me. I have asus vivobook laptop, windows 8. So I can't find the "run" menu at start up.
Can anyone help me how to fix the problem? I have so many important files in my hard disc :( ((

Put in model number or hdd name and get the appropriate diagnostic software.

If it can't be fixed, check if you can RMA.
