Hey guys so my laptop has two hard drives, hard drive c and d. Normally, I have about plenty of space in both drives but suddenly today when opening my laptop windows asks me to run disk cleanup because i have low space on on hard drive C. I was shocked to find out i only had 47mb left of free space. So I ran this app called TreeSize Free to check what was hogging most of the space and found this file called pagefile.sys and it was 156gb of size. So what do I do now? Can i just delete it?

Solution
that sounds a bit excessive

right click on computer and go to advanced system settings

on the advanced tab on the performance section click settings

click advanced tab on performance options and select change on virtual memory

select custom size and set it to 512MB min and 1536MB max
