I have been having error 41 on and off for the past year with my computer and i believe it is driver related. I have a NVIDIA GeForce 7025 chip set yet I do not know if i have deleted the chip set itself, or simply the driver .. I also have a amd radeon hd 6800 graphics card which i have recently uninstalled and reinstalled (the driver) but i keep having problems where the screen splits vertically in half.. when on event viewer the error is labelled as error 41.. Is there any way i can fix the drivers on my computer.. also this error only happens when i am gaming.. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Here are some specs.. AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz CPU
8GB DDR3 Memory
Gigabyte Motherboard model m68 MT-S2
AMD Radeon HD 6800

Use driver sweeper to uninstall the drivers in safe mode, and then reinstall the most successful driver for you/whql driver from the nvidia or geforce website

hmm, you may want to inspect your card for hardware damage, try using it on a different machine and seeing if the problem goes away.
