RAM Requirement help?

I want to pre-purchase 'Saints Row: IV', and I checked out the min. requirements to run the game, everything's fine...

Except the ammount of RAM needed, it takes 4 Gb of RAM min. to run the game, and I only have 3. Will the game even run? I need to know before 8/20/13

a lot of new games are 64bit even wow has a 64bit

some 32bit's will show as 3GB's

The game requires your rig has 4GB RAM installed, not taking 4GB memory. Since all games are 32-bit there is no way that it can take over 2.5GB RAM. But looks your memory (3GB) is a little scarce to run the games along w/ other background application, so Better get it to 6-8GB RAM.

Btw, is your RAM is DDR3 or DDR2? And how many RAM module slots available on your mobo?

U could use CPU-Z to find out. (google it!)

This small software should tell u about the CPU type, the type of the RAM (I guess u have one 2GB and one 1GB module)

And better get GPU-Z to find out the info of your graphic card. It's better if u could send the picture of these software's screen.
