Hi, Folks!
I've decided to build my next system for the first time in several years. I need to build a system that will let me game, do some video editing, and make my first attempts at overclocking.

I got an i7-3770K pretty cheap, now I need to get a good quality mobo. I can spend up to $300 on it.

The only other components I've bought so far is a Coolermaster HAF 932 Advanced, but that's on backorder right now.

Suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

The 1155 socket is a dead end.....unless it was a real steal, I'd recommend a 4770k and current generation MoBo.

With $320 for the 3770k and a $300 budget for MoBo....I'll assume a $620 buget

Best buy for the money:

$502 MSI Z87 GD65 w/ 4770k

However if it was a great deal and ya wanna take advantage of it, these are my favs:

$280 Asus Z77 WS - Killer Mobo, great reviews, capable of x16 x16 in SLI

$240 Asus Z77 Sabertooth - top notch, great OC abilities
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131821

$180 Asus Z77 pro - great bang for the buck...

$150 MSI Z77A GD65 gaming

The Z77 GD65 and the Sabertooth stand out for their military class components which stand out in stark contracts to budget based boards with weak capacitors and chokes.
