I am buying all the parts this week. I have a Haf 932 advance case and a 500w psu also already. Does anyone see anything wrong with the components going together? Or lagging playing games on high/Ultra? The main game I play is World of warcraft. Thanks for the advice in advance =)

what exactly is your budget

i dont really know much about amd processors. i might recommend an intel i5 3570k (with corresponding motherboard), but its about $150 more. if its for aming drop the ram to 8 gb and go with the low profile version so it won't bump heads with the heatsink

and what is your psu? always want to make sure you have a good one

Hey that CPU would bottleneck that powerful GPU bro. I'd suggest you to get a 970 board, then get the FX4300 if you're on a budget. :)

EDIT: And yea, the ram would hit the hyper 212. Just like what he said. I'd suggest you to get the ballistix sport 16gb. It's also good, low profile ram.

I don't like the processor. 2 cores isn't gonna cut it. WoW (and any other MMORPG) is quite processor-bound, and that's not a gaming processor. If you're tight on budget, you could cut back on the RAM (a 2x4GB might be enough for now and can always get another 8GB in the future) and use that money to get a better processor, 4 cores at least. Look for a Phenom II or a FX 4100, 4300 or something like that. You'd have to change your motherboard though, you'll need a AM3+ socket for any of the ones I'm recommending. But either is a MUCH powerful processor than the Athlon you're proposing, and it's not that much more money.

I was kinda wanting to keep it under $500 if I could. Would 8gb e plenty? As far as the brand of psu im not really sure to be honest.

Ok ill probably go with the 6350 then. If you don't mind I'm going to ask a dumb question. I don't know to much about cpu's but what would the difference be between them. Say like the 4350 and the 6350?

4350 = 4 cores
6350 = 6 cores

only reason why i wanted to know was to make sure its good enough. its nice to be able to confirm that your psu doesnt have a reputation for catching fire:D not that im saying that most of them do, but it it's good to know
