my build:
i5 3570k
asus p8z77-v lx
sapphire hd 7870 OC ghz editon
2xgb 1600mhz g-skill sniper ram
corsair gaming series 700w
sdd: samsung 840 120gb
hdd: WD 500gb

i dont know which one should i buy, dont worry about the price, is the same in the store where i'm going to buy it.
i really like the the handle in storm scout 2 because i will need to carry my pc to lans and college house.
also like the 200mm fan in corsair case, whose will be good to drag air from the graphics card, but it will be worth it? the corsair doesnt have handles.

Still doesn't match the 500R for cooling....4 fans to start and 6 more mounting olocations

Having had experience with both, I have to agree with benchmarkreviews. But in cases, aesthetics is a big part of the purchasing decisions.... you have to look at it everyday. personally, I like the cleaner lines of the 500R ... if you prefer the looks of the SS2 and the handle is a bonus as you said, while the 500R wins performance, construction and functionality categories in most reviews, it's really only a quarter point edge in 2 of the 3 quality categories. The performance gap is a bit bigger but unless you are doing some serious CPU / GPU overclocking or going SLI...
I like the 500R ..... don't like the missing air filter on the Scout .... and 500R has way 2 more fan mounts, better construction, better performance and better functionality......most reviewers give it a slight edge over the SS.

The Storm Scout cheaps out with just one supplied 120mm fan..... the 500R comes with 4 fans (1x 200mm side panel fan, 2x front-mounted 120mm fans, 1x rear 120mm fan) which easily erases the current price difference between the two.

9.2 Rating for thrr Storm Scout (I exclude value cause that's an individual assessment)

last week newegg had the 500R for $70, this week the Scout is cheaper.
