Hello everyone

First of all, there are hundreds of threads regarding this issue, but for some reason none of the solutions provided are working for me T_T

My PC randomly stops displaying anything on the screen (No input signal) while the sound still continues, and 4-5 seconds later I hear that horrible sound loop, forcing me to force-restart. This happens in Battlefield 3, Payday 2, World of Warcraft, Dota 2, Far Cry 3, Remember Me, Crysis 3.

Here are my PC specs:
Core i5-3470, stock cooler
2x 4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 MHz 1.5 V
MSI Z77-G43
MSI R7950 3GD5/OC Boost Ed. (960/1250 MHz)

Catalyst driver version 13.4.
Updated mainboard drivers, audio drivers & bios. I've also tried about 4 other versions of catalyst drivers.

It mostly occurs during gaming, but it has happened while browsing the web or editing documents in Word, basic stuff. One crazy occurrence was inside the BiOS, while checking RAM settings.

I'm able to run MSI Kombustor for hours on end without issues. I've returned the card to the store, and after a week of testing they could not recreate the problem.

I've run memtest86, both modules passed. I also tried running one module at a time in every slot. I've tested it with a friend's monitor, and tested my monitor on his PC.

At the moment I put in my old GTS250, while my friend is testing the 7950 in his PC, will update with results later on.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Solution
I have had a similar problem that was a memory issue try one stick if happens less consider new kit. The problem was almost exactly the same only in gaming not the benches or stress tests. That being said its still possibly something else just worth a try. Both modules still had the error but one just much less often new patriot memory fixed it up (old ones were corsair vengeance none of my friends vengeance went bunk though)......and yes they could pass memtest but after replacing no problems so

Hi freshbakd

Thanks, I'll try swapping the memory modules for someone else's after the graphics test has been completed.

Hi, I have the same problem before, but my game doens't even show the graphics... Stay only on Sound loop, so here's the deal:
I read before that the VERTICAL SYNC can be a problem on this games, so try desactivating the VS and try again.
My case was almost the same, but my Laptop has the GT 555 and HD INTEL 4000, when i disable the VS (Vertical Sync) on GT 555, I get no effect... It took me DAYS to try again, because i already had no hope on playing this games... But later i've tried disabling on HD and all my games, that have Black Screen, Work again!!!
Really... What annoying configuration, i never guess that the Vertical Sync of the HD 4000 can conflict with the Gt 555.
So pls, try that!!
I Hope that i can help you guyz ^^!
PS: Sry for the Grammar :D! I need to try more :p.
