the AMD Build will be way better for 3D work because of that 8 cores processor !! it has beast performance using all cores !

I really don't understand why people are preferring 4670s by compromising the Graphics.
I really don't understand why a multi-threaded CPU is being recommended for a gamer, not a pro video editor.
I really don't understand why a 650 watt of PSU is being recommended for a system that won't use more than 400 watt of power even when everything is running at 100 percent.

Don't get me wrong but just stating the truth.

About the GPU- I know 770 is an OCd 680 but its always better to get a stock clocked GPU with latest drivers rather going through the pain of voiding warranty and lifetime of a outdated GPU like 680

Dude !! am using that FX-8350 !! it's awesome for gaming !! just like an i5-4670k !! it perform like an i5-4670k + has better performance using all cores which i can use it for editing and stuff !! btw the next generation games will start using this 8 cores technology in gaming !
if not , so why the upcoming consoles has an 8 cores processor ??

for the 650w PSU , i would love to add an extra 10 pounds to get extra 100w !! it will provide for me more room to overclock or adding a second GPU (SLI/Crossfire) .

650 isn't enough for SLI/Xfiring.
I don't want to mention that AMD cpus have terrible issues..if you wanna suggest multicore pros then get a standard one..like i7.

Here's your score-
http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-3570K-vs-AMD-FX-8...

Yeah, AMD is that pathetic that it can't even cope up with a i5 even..leave out i7.

Most of the amateurs get overwhelmed when they see that "8 core processor" but actually in reality it performs poorly in gaming.
The amd build you suggested is mainly for videoediting rendering(70%) and less gaming.(30 %)

Dude !! am not talking about AMD or intel !! i don't care about companies !!

really !!!!!! that FX-8350 has poor gaming performance :D  hhhhhhhhhhhh

dude !! am using it at the moment !! even that i5-4670k wouldn't get the + 75 FPS in Battlefield 3 Ultra setting 1080p
like my FX-8350 !!

C'mon dude !! AMD poor for gaming !!

then please check this out !! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewrPDqFuT3Y&list=FLXC6Dq...

comparing an AMD 190 Dollars CPU with an 320 $ intel's CPU !!

i wouldn't like to spend extra 130$ to get extra 2 ~ 3 FPS in gaming + in some games !! that FX-8350 perform better !!

please watch the video ! and watch the gaming FPS benchmarks in that video then come back and replay to me !!

I saw that AMD lost pathetically..What were you trying to imply??..
Nothing to say..this battle has ensued since the birth of tech Intel vs AMD.
I prefer standard stuffs even if cost is a bit high.
I won't turn back and suffer with my PC cuz i have a standard CPU.
So, AMD fans might be there but there are Intels too

lsn !! i swear to got that am not an AMD / intel Fan :D  hhhhh

i am my own wallet fan :D  !!

maybe you are rich ?!! but for me !! i wouldn't like to spend that much of money for an extra 1 FPS !!

even the FX-6100 perform pretty much the same as that i7-3770k !!

believe it or not !! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jV2Voo5h3eU

200 $ for an extra 5 FPS hhhh that i7-3770k is overpriced
