I would like to connect my PS3 and PC to the same PC monitor using HDMI and without changing over the HDMI cable each time I want to switch between the two, Could I use a HDMI switch or does that create input lag?

Solution
A switch will work fine, no lag.
You still have to get up and turn the little dial but you dont have to pull cords from the machines.
Make sure it's a SWITCH and not a SPLITTER. I tried one of those splitters from ebay, utter garbage, you still have to pull the cable from the splitter each time! What a waste of a dollar..
