So I've been wondering, I have two(2) ripjaws gaming 4gb sticks on my pc running at dual channel. So I have 2 free slots available and they're also dual channel so will it be ok if I put there two(2) kingston hyperx beast 4gb sticks in there? so I would have 2x4gb ripjaws gaming and 2x4gb kingston hyperx beast. will it work or will there be a problem? thanks in advance guys!

Ram is sold in kits for a reason.
Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time.
Some motherboards can be very sensitive to this.
That is why ram vendors will NOT support ram that is not bought in one kit.
Although, I think the problem has lessened with the newer Intel chipsets. Still,
it is safer to get what you need in one kit.
You could try it, odds are that it will work, but nobody will guarantee it.
If your use is for games, realize that no game will use more than 2-3gb by itself. That is why 8gb is the norm.

Do you have the sticks or are you thinking of buying - if thinking of buying, I wouldn't, it's never a good idea to mix sticks, it can be problematic...on the other hand, if you have them, can give it a try, if help needed let me know mobo/CPU and model #s (actual model #s) of the DRAM

Sorry but your 'answer' makes no sense and is wrong on a couple of counts
