Hello everyone,

I am looking at transferring my computer parts to a new case.

here is my setup

Asus z-77 VLK http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8Z77V_LK/
intel Corp 2600
Sapphire HD 7850
Corsair 650 Watt PSU

So far I have these two choices

Cool Master Storm Stryker

IN WIN GRone Gray 0.8mm SECC Steel ATX Full Tower

My motherboard did not come with a q connector so I am looking at purchasing one at the Asus store. Will my motherboard be compatible with the Q connector. How hard is it to use a Q connector my motherboard Manuel.

I also was thinking about doing crossfire with my Radeon HD 7850. Is it worth the money and also do I have enough wattage with my 650Watt psu?

Thank-you for answering my questions. Everyone is always so helpful.

I'd add this to the case list .... The 500R comes with 4 fans and about every other week can be had for $70 on newegg

At this point, despite the latest release, I'm still shy about CF

Solution
I think the reason it didn't come with the Qconnector is that it physically won't fit into the space where the front panel connections go: the USB and SATA plugs are right up against the front panel connection.

IF it will fit in the space, there is nothing to it: BUT you must make certain that the Q connecter pins (where you will be attaching the front panel connecting leads) are the SAME as on the motherboard header that you will plugging the Q-connector onto.

I checked the amd website but I am still confused. I have a corsair TX650m power supply should that be enough for crossfire. Here is my current build.

Asus V-77 VLK
Radeon HD 7850
i7 2600k

This from a post from ko888:
"For a system using two SAPPHIRE HD 7850 1GB GDDR5 graphics cards in 2-way CrossFireX mode AMD specifies a minimum of an 600 Watt or greater system power supply. The power supply should also have a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 35 Amps or greater and have at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors."
"The Corsair TX Series TX650 (SKU# 75-001315 / CP-9020038-NA), with its maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 54 Amps and with two (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors, is way more than sufficient to power your system configuration with two SAPPHIRE HD 7850 1GB GDDR5 graphics cards in 2-way CrossFireX mode."
That should answer that question.
