Hey all, I recently got a mobo for my new build and as I was opening the cpu lid up I discovered ...... you guessed it a BENT PIN! I went and did a RMA and will be shipping it out either tomorrow or Tuesday. Do you guys think everything will go smoothly? I'm feeling a little nervous as I don't want $140 to go down the drain. Thanks in advance!

Oops, I read that as CPU. He can probably search for the RMA for the motherboard too. With pins, you might be just as in trouble. Give them a call to find out, they are good on the phone. I think if you havent plugged anythign in, havent screwed the board into a case, or anythign like that, you have a better shot at getting it returned.

All i did was take it out of the anti static wrap. I opened the cpu lid and boom there they were. I really hope I get this replaced or refunded or else i wasted $140. :( If they refuse to rma I will give them a call...

I had talked to an operator and she has added information to my rma file that they were bent on arrival not installation. I hope this betters my chances of replacing the motherboard!

Thank you so much, I really hope this board was not "refurbished" or "used" after all I had received it in a box with just crumpled up paper, I was hoping for something more protective....
