So i walked into my room yesterday and started playing BF3.... 10 minutes into playing it, there was smoke coming from my PC. 3 seconds later it turned into a flame. luckily enough i have a see through side panel and i noticed it and was able to unplug and shut everything off before it spread.

My question is... what the hell happen??? it was so random... Ive had this computer built for about 3-4 months now. From what it looks like the USB port and PCI part melted and caught fire at the very bottom of the motherboard.

My specs are
Win 8
MSI z77a-gd65
gtx 680 galaxy
i7 3770k
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4x 4GB), PC3-12800, DDR3-1600MHz, 240-pin DIMM.
Corsair h100i
mastercooler stryker case
and 5 extra fans.
Intel ssd 520 120gb
and a 1tb hibachi hdd

On a regular day

For me, those images are showing up small. Can you link to bigger ones?

Thanks for the bigger pics, however it is still really hard to tell. It looks like some sort of short/over current happened somewhere. That's the most likely case for things to heat up, flame up and melt. If something was damaged, not plugged in correctly, not plugged in all the way, had a defective part, was overclocked too much, etc... all could cause a failure like this.

Sorry it happened man, that sucks! :(
