Hey guys,

I have been extremely curious on whether I can overclock my CPU. I am wondering what I can overclock it to also will I need another fan?
My Rig:

- i5 Quad Core 770 @ 2.80 Ghz w/Stock fan
- Mobo - MSI P55-GD55
- Radeon HD 5770

Cheers

Ohh..so it's a Lynnfield;Umm...3.8-4.0 would be a decent overclock for daily.
Use max multi,2nd highest "uncore" or "qpi" and raise the FSB .
1.4 max on vtt
Vcore..as much as you can without it overheating.

i5-770 doesn't have a unlocked multiplier, so u may adjust the base clock speed to increase the freq. That's more difficult than just increase the multiplier, plus u should figure out a better cooling solution.

There's no such thing as an i5 770.Post a cpu-z validation link,pls.
Not many subs on the bot with that board, either.
I'd say you could OC some.
I'd be careful, though..MSI uses crappy mosfets.
