What to upgrade?

I don't really have the money at the moment, but just as a reference to when i do have the money (and don't be afraid to say some higher prices, but keep in mind what I have already (like don't say $2,000 for stuff))

but here are my system details:
OS: windows 8 64-bit (6.2, Build 9200)
System manu facturer: MSI
System Model: MS-7721
Processor: AMD A6-5500K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (2 CPUs), ~3.6GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 11

is there anything that really sticks out as to what one would be the first to upgrade. I like playing Team Fortress 2, I'm not really into PC gaming since I don't have a PC that can handle a hard graphics game. I just recently downloaded black ops 2 from a torrent and it can only run that at about 40 FPS on lowest settings.
On TF2 it runs about a good 50 frames on average settings.

Eventually i would like to be able to play games such as Battlefield and what not on high settings with no loss of frames. And as of now my monitor only can put out 60 frames. But, to be back on topic what should i upgrade to get a better performance?

There is no such thing as a A6-5500K it is either a 5500 or a 5600K. The 5500 doesn't overclock I would recommend picking up a unlocked CPU without the integrated graphics. The board that you have does not support the new Richland CPUs on your FM2 board so I would recommend picking up the following(since you provided no budget):

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 750K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($79.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Seidon 120M 86.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($34.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: HIS Radeon HD 7870 2GB Video Card ($179.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $294.97

You may also need a new PSU... what is your current PSU?

Agreed. PC games can be had cheap if you are patient and don't need the game on release date.

I would recommend buying from The Humble Bundle. They have two great offers available currently. The game packages are dirt cheap and you also contribute to charity :)
