I'm looking at a intel i5-4570 right now, but I would like to know if there is a cheaper cpu that will not bottleneck a gtx 760. I am out of the loop with current hardware.

I am building a mini-itx gaming machine using the silverstone ft03-mini.

The difference in price between the 4570 and 4670K is only $20 and it would be beneficial to pickup the unlocked CPU if you are capable or willing to overclock.

Thanks but you didn't answer my question. I would like to know the cheapest 1150 cpu that will not bottleneck my gtx 760, also mini itx I dont plan to over clock no need for a "K" cpu.

There should be no bottleneck with any of the current Haswell chips on most games so it will have no issue supporting the GTX 760.

I mean honestly micro-center has the 4570 for 159.99$ right now in store. I don't think I would want to go any cheaper then a 4570 should I?

Then its a no-brainer. Go with the 4670K since it also includes a $40 bundle discount with a motherboard whereas the 4570 doesn't. They end up being the same price(199.99-40) when the motherboard is also purchased...

The $159.99 price you are quoting is in-store only as well... The cheapest price online is $199.99

Very nice. Still cheaper to drive 50 miles then pay 199.

There you go. Pickup the 4670K with a motherboard. Also, it is perfectly reasonable to overclock a ITX build.
