hey there guys, ive recently joined this forum to gain some help and knowledge from you all, im new so take it easy on me.

im not sure whats going on with my computer atm.. here are my specs

i7 920 OC @ 3.55ghz case: alienware aurora r2( watercooled cpu and board and
the overpriced works)

psu: standard 874 watt comes with aleinware
ram: DDR3 Corsair xm3 1333mhz 8gb
gpu: gigabyte gtx650 ti
OC 2gb
hdd:caviar green wd 500gb 7200rpm

I noticed a decrease in frame rate when I tend to play most games, I get a max of 45 and a low at 13.... even unigine 4.0 gives me the same results... im abit stuck what I can do to improve this lowframe rate? ive looked at my cpu usage on full load and its around 7% to 12% memory at 15% and gpu seems to be 60%maybe to 70%

I mean my gtx 650 ti should do the job.. ive tried to overlock stock clocks on the gpu but still no difference :/ is it my processor, gpu, ram or what?
is there something I need to fix up in my gpu settings?

cheers guys. yeah I know alienware is overpriced garbage blah blah, but I have the same problem with my i5 750

I would say thats well within limits. When was the last time you updated your graphics drivers? Also download nVidia GeForce Experience because that will take a lot of the guesswork out of getting the graphics settings tuned in right. Then see how it goes.

well gpu under load is 35-40 and cpu is 74-64-70-68 and idles around 45-45 for each core, do you reckon that's too hot?
