the thing is the 4770 has TSX + vPro + VT-d and the 4770k doesn't it's just overclockable same goes to the 4930k, now i really want a 6 core proccessor not 4 it will come to use especially now that some games started using more than 4 cores i dont want to risk it and pay bucks for a 4 cores cpu, i thought my best choice was 4930k but i just don't know if these features that got removed would affect gaming especially games that use more cores / threads or if they would be needed in the future so i don't know if i should get this crippled cpu, you know intel is always like this they keep using sneaky marketing tactics why? because they can, i miss the competition between amd and intel long ago.
tell me how will it affect me if i get a crippled cpu and if i should wait for the fx-9590

lol thanks for sharing :) tbh i wish amd would release their 5 ghz cpu's in q3-q4 2013 and release those on 2014 q2-q3, tbh they should : \, now it's even more complicated than befor, it seems like 2014 would change the world of cpus because of the games development is growing so fast, so not even a 4930k would last long tbh best choice is to get an fx-6300 for 100-130$ till they come and then give it to my bro pc and buy my self the new ones wether the 5 ghz or the 6 ghz depends on how long would the 6300 last

depends on what use your going for . if your not overclocking i suggest the 4770 non k version. if you are settle for the 4770k. the 4930k is a lga2011 socket & imho is jus a waste of money unless your building a workstation for rendering & CAD or video recording

Always get the k version in my opinion. Even if right now you don't want to overclock further down the line you might change your mind. The price difference is about 10 bucks I believe and well worth it. Like Caj said the 4930 would be a waste unless you're running one of those programs and even then the 4770k is more than enough.

In short 4770k, hands down.

You don't need VT-d unless you plan on using the system for virtualization (Hyper-V, ESXi, etc.) vPro requires a compatible chipset, e.g., Q87 based motherboard. It's useless for a home system, but it can be very useful in an enterprise environment for remote troubleshooting.

i'll be more specific, i already don't want the 4930k any more i want to go with amd, am getting the new radeon 9970 coming in october should be faster than 780 and slower than titan, now my question is should i get the fx-6300 for only 110$ ends today keep in mind it has the best price/performance ever now 10$ cheaper too, and keep it till the fx-9590 comes or better if the new rumor about the 6 ghz 12 core cpu is true, and then give it to my bro pc, do you think an OC 6300 @ 4.5 would keep up with that monster gpu, like can it keep me up let's say till the new 6 ghz cpu arrives in q2 2014 or should i get the 8350 to be safe
