Gaming monitor 1080p

I'm looking for a 1080p monitor with minimal ghosting and high image quality. it doesn't need to 120 hertz, but I do want everything to display smoothly on it. Also, low input lag is a must for I will be primarily gaming on it, but not exclusively. My maximum budget is 300$, as I'm only 13 and steady income is a pipe dream.

I don't need to date a supermodel but I sure would enjoy it :)

The Asus VG248QE meets all ya qualifiers and is 144Hz to boot .... $260 - $10 off w/ promo code GAMNGWK3, ends 8/12
