I have an HP Pavillion p6610f and am looking at the Nvidia cards. Can it handle the GTX 660 or some other suggested cost-effective card?

I would go with this http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperClocked-Dual-Link-Graph...

And maybe upgrade your RAM and CPU if you find there to be a bottleneck

I'm afraid it wont be able to handle that card. According to my research, that setup only has a 250W PSU.. which is incredibly weak to handle most graphic cards. An HD 7750 MIGHT just work (I'm not really counting on it, though) since it doesn't require additional power aside from the 75W from the PCIe slot. But an upgrade on your PSU will really help you broaden up your upgrade options. :wahoo:

Yup.....gonna need a new PSU.... get at least a 500w for headroom !
And if your going to spend $200 on a new GPU and at least $60 mim. on a new PSU
you might as well save $300 more and get a new mobo and CPU and have a decent
"midrange" gaming system !

Ya, Radeon 7750. It only daws from the motherboard. Anything graphically more powerful and you'll need a 6 pin(or two) power connector(s). Something your PSU definitely does not have.
