So after a week of revising and revising, I've built up what I think will be a really nice gaming computer that should be able to last me quite a while.
I have put much thought into overclocking, and I have absolutely no interest in it, so this system was put together without giving a care to overclocking.
I went with the i5-4670 over the i5-3570 since it'll give me at least a little wiggle-room for upgradability, what with the Broadwell generation being compatible with the same motherboard.
I also realize that 16gigs of RAM is overkill, but its within the budget so hey why not? If its not gonna cause the system harm, might as well pump it up so I dont have to worry about upgrading when DDR4 comes out.
The only thing I'm not entirely sure I want is the case. Its a bit expensive, and I dont mind downgrading as long as its got good airflow, is large (since I never move it), and allows for great cable management with a non-modular PSU.
Well, I think that about covers everything. Tell me your thoughts!
