Planning on building a new gaming computer in the next couple weeks that can run almost all new games on maximum settings on a 1920x1080 hd monitor.
Not sure yet if overclocking, hoping to try it.
Current parts selected :
Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series MZ-7PD128BW 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

WD Blue 1 TB Desktop Hard Drive: 3.5 Inch, 7200 RPM, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64 MB Cache - WD10EZEX http://www.amazon.com/WD-Blue-Desktop-Hard-Drive/dp/B00...

EVGA GeForce GTX670 FTW 2048MB GDDR5 256bit, http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Dual-Link-DisplayPort-Graphi...

Corsair Enthusiast Series 650-Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certified Power Supply Compatible with Core i3, i5, i7 and platforms - TX650 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004LB5AZY/ref=as_li_s...

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heat Pipes http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Hyper-Plus-RR-B10-2...

ASUS 24X DVD Burner http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Haven't yet decided on the case, but would like a good suggestion.

Please help me out on switching out some of these parts that you guys think would be more optimal.

Also, how well would a build like this run latest games around max settings?
Thanks

Slightly slower SSD but still great performance
680 over the 670 due to cheap 680
Zalman 10X Optima is same performance but $10 cheaper
Cheaper Optical Drive
4670k over the 3570k
Cheaper mb, you could go for the z87 GD65 Gaming if you want
Cheaper PSU
Budget Case but still pretty decent
The 680 will run most games @ 1080p Ultra except Crysis 3. Even a Ttitan is barely playabe 1080p Ultra in Crysis 3
I'll follow up with a more expensive fleshed out one later

Here is a higher quality MB
SSD is faster (To note, biggest difference in getting SSD is just getting one period)
Same 680 (770 which are just OC 680's are $40 more, your choice)
Higher quality Case
Nicer PSU, XFX made by Seasonic
I opted for a CLC. Some people don't like them since they have an extra point of failure in the pump, but on a sale they offer good performance for the price. An alternative air cooler at the same price is the CM 612 PWM

Nice build. The 212 EVO is a slightly better cooler but it's over priced right now compared to the 612 PWM or the Zalman 10x Optima. Otherwise looks really solid.
Going with the 256GB SSD is an interesting choice.

I have no shame in reusing goof ideas :p

Slightly faster SSD at same price compared to Sandisk, Samsung 840 is also an option
Same 770
Case is left open
CLC CM 120M, preforms better than the 212 EVO
80+ Gold modular power supply 750W from Evga

But it can be normal price in two weeks? :)  (212 EVO)
Now this is good buy. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-cpu-cooler-nhu12s
Normal price is 70-75 and now 50 :)  really good cooler , silent , can use high memory and so on.
I was thinking 256GB SSD is better buy over the 128GB because it is bigger. More room makes is nice to use longer time.
It do not come full so easy than the 128GB. IMO 128GB is bit small :)

Noctua coolers are nice but they do carry a prenium.
