Well i bought a new laptop yesterday Asus k55vm and they said it has 8GB ram windows 8 64 bit 1TB Hard disk and a Nvidia Gt630m... but when i got my laptop and after few days when i downloaded CPU-z i checked that it is showing only 4GB ram instead of 8GB Ram and i have a sticker on my laptop which says it has 8GB ram :|

Read your laptop's user manual, and find the way to open up the compartment where the memory is installed.
Make sure it's properly installed, and that nothing is loose.
And be doubly certain that you are running Windows 8 64 bit, that's another likely cause.

You can check the RAM amount in the properties of the computer (although in Windows 8 its probably a 30 step process) or in the BIOS. Don't just go by cpuz. Go to Task Manager, then the Performance tab, what does that show?
