pc turns on only after clr cmos

my pc wont boot, it restarts twice and keep black screen (no post screen, not a single letter) all the fans are working , it only turns on after clr cmos. i updated bios and nothing.

Will it boot with just the CPU, GPU, and ram and nothing else attached? Was this PC working prior to the day this started happening? If it won't boot with just the CPU, GPU, and ram, does it give the proper beep/error codes when something like the GPU or ram is removed? If not, it sounds like the motherboard is dying or dead.

No telling how long that board sat around before being sold. Batteries are cheap and easy to replace, so you may as well try changing it. It should be a type CR2032. You will neeed to load default bios settings, then reset any bios settings that you previously changed after inserting the new battery.
