Hey guys,

I have an issue with RAM.I want to use all potential of my pc, thats why I'm planing to get new RAM, and an SSD drive. The question is what should I choose? What are the pros and cons for RAM manufacturers? So far I know, that FX-8350 supports 1866 mhz of RAM speed, so thats means I dont need 2400 mhz or RAM??

I have tried my Kinsgton Beast 1600 on XMP settings, but it crashed a lot. So I backed for default (JEDEC6) But it is still interesting thing, because t Kingston site, that ram default is 1333 9-9-9 lat. But my default bios shows 1600-11-11-11 lat. Anyway, would my pick of Kinston Beast 1866 worth changing??

Next question is about SSD drives? I also think of getting Kingston hyperx 256 gb ssd? Any comments about it??

My spec are:
MoBo: Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3
CPU: AMD FX-8350 (Stock)
GPU: AMD Radeon Gigabyte 7950 GV-R795WF3-3GD
RAM: Kingston Beast 1600 2X4 With XMP OFF
PSU: Gigabyte Superb620 620W
Case: Gigabyte SettoII 140 With one rare 120mm FAN
HDD: WD Blue 3.5'' 1TB SATA3 7200RPM 64MB
Front fan: Corsair SP120 PWM High Pressure, 120mm, 4pin

Solution
RAM speeds actually matters rather little in overall performance unless you have an APU
Benchmarks show that different timings and frequencys make less than three frames in total, totally not worth the large price tag for tight timings and high clocks

A frequency of 1600 is fine for anyone.

I think chances are that there is nothing wrong with your RAM. I would not upgrade that RAM as it is a very minimal upgrade and would result in 1-2% improvement in games if that. Perhaps read up on correct overclocking of RAM to make sure the voltages are correct and go by small increments and test for stability. Most of the time when you overclock your CPU is when you need better than standard RAM so it can handle the higher speeds and voltage.

You could really get more performance by upgrading your CPU to an i5-i7 or your graphics card to a better one instead of focusing on the RAM.

The HyperX 256 gb ssd is a very good drive, go for it.

My RAM on default clocks works good, I just wanted to know if there is more performance between 1600 and 1866 mhz rams, but i have understaned that 1-2 procents dont realy make much :)

That CPU can handle up to 1866 natively. 1866 is nearly the same cost as 1600 and will give you a slight performance improvement.

Personally, I bought 1866 (* Running at 1600 just fine) for my Phenom II build in an AM3+ board because I know I will eventually go to an FX CPU using 1866.
