Cant access bios

My new sabertooth 990fx gen3 r2.0 board i got works perfect except i cant get into the bios. ive done a cmos wipe multiple times, and reinstalled bios updates on it via asus ez update and manually through the bios button/port on the back of the mobo.

the screen just goes black.. the tuf series logo comes up and says to hit del/f2 to enter bios. i do that, and that screen stays black.. i tried it with all my ssd/hdd unplugged and it still does it. ive done it with all but my keyboard unplugged from the pc. i

I even went into asus ai suite and clicked the button to respart the pc in bios, still a black screen.

Other then that the computer runs perfectly and does what its suppose to do. plays games, surfs internet, processes video etc etc etc all perfect.. i just cant get into the bios.. friggin wierd imo.

anyone got any ideas? i was on phone with asus tech support for an hour and we did everything.. he said to call back today ( monday) and see if i can get a new bios chip mailed to me free of charge due to the board being bought only 5 days ago and i got the tuf series so its gotta 5 year warranty.

anyone got any ideas why the bios loads / pc runs perfectly but i cant physically access the bios / get the bios to display ?

Could be a bios virus, also could be a semi corrupt bios, IDK exactly what's wrong with it but I can tell you a few things to try. Remove the battery on the motherboard for a few seconds and then put it back in. The cmos will then be cleared. If that doesn't work then go here http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_990FXGEN3_R20/#support_Download_36 and get the latest bios and use the dos bios flasher tool to update your bios. If all that fails then you will need to take advantage of your warranty because you have a defective part.
  2. How if your monitor connected to the computer? Can you try a different port?
