overclock with cool and quiet FAILED, prime HELP!

I got to 3.78ghz @ 1.407 volts without cool and quiet. I then turned on cool and quiet. It was working just fine but I decided to run prime. Then prime had some errors after 5min, my screen showed small black square in the corner of the task manager window.... I don't know if that's normal with cool and quiet, does prime always fail with CnQ on?

I want to save energy but I don't want my games to be unstable.

Yea, I turned off CnQ but left balanced power on. When I ran Prime it failed but when I set it to high performance; prime runs ok:/ That's odd, maybe balanced messes with prime; by trying to cut off its processes?
