Coil whine and games brief pause

I built my computer 5 months ago and had this problem since. My specs are : GTX 670, i5 2500k, 8 gb 1600 MHz. No matter what game, my GPU whines and I get a brief pause every 5 seconds. The coil whine and brief pause every 5 seconds occures even after defragging my HDD and system reserved. Also, sometimes the game minimizes on its own.

I already know that, but the reason I included that my GPU is coil whining because it might have something to do with games pausing for a brief moment every 5 seconds.

The card stops coil whining for the split second the game freezes at. Also, sometimes the game minimizes on its own.

It is factory Overclocked but I overclocked it slightly more.
