Built my first rig about 3 weeks ago. When I first assembled, it worked good out of the box, installed 4gb of ram on the b2 (2nd DIMM SLOT). Played battlefield 3 with no problems.

Last week I bought an extra 4gb to add to my build. After installing it in the 1st slot, everything boots up fine. Then contnued gaming. BUT, it crashes like after 30 minutes of Battlefield 3.

It took me a while to figure out what the problem is. But i've confirmed it is the 1st DIMM slot causing these crashes (Few bsod).

Tested using the 1st slot, on either/each sticks, it still crashes.

The crash rate is even higher when i ran LinX to stress the cpu using ALL MEMORY.

Tested using the 2nd slot, on either/each sticks, zero crashes even on overclocked cpu.

HOW DO I FIX THIS :'(

SPECS:
N68-VS3 fx mobo
AMD FX-6100 (3.6ghz OC)
G Skill 4GB 1600MHZ + Kingston Hyperx Blu 4gb 1600mhz
(Both modules run in dual channel perfectly fine. Same voltage, Same timings.)

HELP!

Do you have warranty on your mobo? If you do, they should refund or replace your mobo.

Yep still have the reciet. I really dont want replacement though cuz, based on other customer reviews, this particular store takes at least 1 month to replace RMA'ed items. Hope it doesnt go that direction.
