This year my older and most treasured external hard drive gets to 7 years with me, I will save my documents this week when my new build arrives. But will my hard drive would be able to live longer? Maybe I should stop putting important data there, should I? Is working fine and everything but it has been under heavy duty and a lot of work, maybe some day I would try to turn it on and die or eventually? Is the older version of the WD My Book 1TB How can a check his health? Thanks in advance for the silly question.... Yes it can live longer, or it will die the next morning no guarantee. So stop saving important data on it, but you can use it until it dies. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
