Hi everybody!

This year my older and most treasured external hard drive gets to 7 years with me, I will save my documents this week when my new build arrives.

But will my hard drive would be able to live longer? Maybe I should stop putting important data there, should I?

Is working fine and everything but it has been under heavy duty and a lot of work, maybe some day I would try to turn it on and die or eventually?

Is the older version of the WD My Book 1TB

How can a check his health?

Thanks in advance for the silly question....
Cec

Hdds usually die without warning. You should always have multiple copies of important files anyways.
