Seasonic G Series PSU Very Loud?

So I just purchased this power supply and after connecting all the cables to their proper slots, putting it in the PC, and then connecting it to a power outlet, my PC didn't seem to turn on. I think I noticed this after I plugged in the power cord, but the PSU had seemed to be on 'ON' the while I was putting all my cables into it. So then I tried unplugging and plugging back in all my cables and it turned on. However, my PSU fan seems to be running at full speed because as I am typing this, it is extremely loud, much louder than my old CM eXtreme Power Plus running idly. So, I don't know if I shorted the fan control mechanism on my PSU, or something else, but I may end up returning this PSU. Has anyone else had an experience like this?

Alright, well I seemed to fix it myself. I troubleshooted each step of the way by plugging the cables in and testing the boot up (very quiet), placing it into the PC and testing the boot up (very quiet), then as I began to screw the PSU into my case, when I put in the top left one very tightly, the PSU's fan again began to spin very fast. I'm not sure exactly what makes it cause this, but when I unscrewed it slightly, it became quiet again. So right now the PC is working great, and my PC is now SUPER quiet! Yay!
