I lied...these would be good too. That last one has a mail in rebate...brings it down a bit!
The Antec Basiq BP500U 500W isn't able to do the job. It only has one 75W 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector. Its maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 29 Amps is insufficient.
A Radeon HD 7970 requires that the PSU have at least one 75W 6-pin and one 150W 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

is your best bet for a reliable PSU with sufficient power for your system.
